A week ago, I had a wonderful time doing a few Mother’s Day mini sessions. Sweet kiddos and wonderful moms! The photos turned out beautiful, and I love being able to capture these special moments

The day after their extended family photos, I met the C family out at Pioneer Village for a fun little family session. This little guy was absolutely picture perfect! Mom and Dad did an awesome job too

I’ve been running a little behind with the blogging lately, but I’m going to try to catch up and get back on track today! First, I’m going to start off with a recent photo session that I had with a beautiful family in Clinton. We were racing against the weather, and I had to search out an umbrella in the end. I had a session this evening with a fabulous family! This little guy had the most amazing and sparkling blue eyes, but he made us work a bit for those smiles ;o) Such a cutie whether he was smiling or not though! I enjoyed spending my evening capturing some fun with this sweet little family!

Almost thought this session might not happen yesterday, but the weather made a turn for the better! We ended up with a fantastic evening for photos and no rain in sight, yay! So, with a new Bettendorf location to try out and an adorable family in front of my lens, it turned out to be a great family session

On Sunday, I had the pleasure of photographing a family and their daughter as she was celebrating her first communion! It was a bit chilly with the wind, but we worked through it. It was so great to see such a supportive and wonderful extended family be able to get together and enjoy this special day for a beautiful little girl!

So, I am revamping my website and moving my blog AGAIN… I think I really can’t seem to go more than a year without the need for change! But this time I’m pretty excited about the new site, and I’m looking forward to keeping this one around for awhile (well, at least another year anyway..hehe).
So, my debut family on this blog was a wonderful session and such a handsome little guy with his mom and dad! This was my first spring outdoor session, and it was one of the few “awesome weather” days that we’ve had so far this season. Spring seems to be hiding from us this year in the Quad Cities, but hopefully it will peek its head out a little more in the coming weeks!
